Andreas Christoforou
Managing Director · International Tax Lawyer
Andreas Christoforou is the founding partner of ASC Law Firm and an international tax lawyer advising entrepreneurs, investors, technology businesses and internationally active groups on the use of Cyprus within their wider commercial and personal planning.
His practice brings together international tax, corporate and intellectual property law. He advises on Cyprus holding and operating structures, the Cyprus IP Box regime, cross-border transactions, business establishment and the relocation of founders and private clients. His role is not limited to forming a Cyprus company: he helps clients understand how the legal, tax and operational elements of a structure should work together from the outset and remain defensible as the business develops.
Before establishing ASC Law Firm, Andreas gained first-hand commercial experience as an in-house lawyer within a global technology conglomerate, alongside his earlier training at a Cyprus law firm. That combination shaped a practical approach to legal advice—one that considers commercial objectives, internal decision-making and implementation, rather than treating legal and tax questions in isolation.
Andreas has practised in Cyprus since 2012. He holds an LLB from the University of Westminster and an LLM in International Tax Law from the University of Sydney, and is a member of the Cyprus Bar Association. Clients work directly with him on matters requiring strategic judgment, clear communication and long-term cross-border planning.
