How A. Christoforou & Associates LLC collects, uses, and protects personal data submitted through this website, in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Last updated: August 2026

1. Data controller

The data controller is A. Christoforou & Associates LLC (registration number HE360542), licensed by the Cyprus Bar Association (License Number: 660), of 11B, Georgiou Seferi, Nicosia 1076, Cyprus. You can reach us at info@asclawfirm.com.

2. What data we collect

  • Contact form: your name, email address, company (optional), area of interest, and the description of your situation that you choose to provide.
  • AI tools: the text you enter into the AI Structure Advisor or the chat assistant. If you choose to forward an AI assessment to us, it is included with your enquiry.
  • Technical data: our servers process your IP address transiently for security purposes (such as rate limiting). We do not use advertising trackers.
  • Website usage: when enabled, Replit-hosted analytics measures visits, traffic sources, pages, devices, and selected interactions. The service processes IP traffic data. Our custom events record actions and outcomes, not names, email addresses, enquiry contents, chat messages, AI assessments, or calculator figures.

Please do not submit sensitive personal data (such as health or criminal-record information) through the website. The calculators run entirely in your browser — the figures you enter are not transmitted to us.

3. Why we process it (legal bases)

  • To respond to your enquiry — processing necessary to take steps at your request prior to entering into an engagement (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
  • To operate the AI tools you use — our legitimate interest in providing the features you request (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  • To secure the website — our legitimate interest in preventing abuse (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

4. Who receives your data

We use a small number of service providers (processors) to operate this website:

  • hosting infrastructure for the website and its server, including Replit-hosted website analytics when enabled;
  • an email delivery provider (Resend) to transmit your contact-form enquiry to us;
  • an AI model provider to generate responses in the AI tools — the text you enter is sent to the provider to produce the response and is not used by us for any other purpose.

We do not sell personal data. Some providers may process data outside the EEA; where that is the case, transfers are safeguarded by appropriate mechanisms such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

5. How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to handle your matter and, where an engagement follows, in accordance with our professional record-keeping obligations. Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement are deleted within a reasonable period.

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you;
  • have inaccurate data corrected and, in certain circumstances, erased;
  • restrict or object to processing based on legitimate interests;
  • receive your data in a portable format;
  • lodge a complaint with the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection of Cyprus.

To exercise any of these rights, email info@asclawfirm.com.

7. Cookies and local storage

This website does not use advertising cookies. Details of browser storage and optional website analytics are set out in our Cookie Policy.

8. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The version published on this page applies from the date indicated above.
